The Laboratory for Equine and Comparative Orthopedic Research (LECOR) is seeking applications for a post-doctoral position. The applicant will join a group investigating orthopedic stem cell applications. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of senior research scientists as with collaborators from within the Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine, the Louisiana State University Medical School – New Orleans, and the Pennington Biomedical Research Center. Investigative methods employed include cellular molecular, genetic (RNA and DNA) and compositional analysis, histology, cell culture, and surgical techniques.
