We are currently recruiting 1-2 new graduates or seasoned veterinarians for our rapidly growing small animal practice located in The Dalles, Oregon. The Dalles is located in the Columbia Gorge, an area that is renowned for its vast outdoor sports: windsurfing, biking, biking, kite boarding, kayaking, and camping. We have some of the most scenic trails that lead to majestic waterfalls. The Dalles is located one hour east of Portland, 20 miles east of Hood River, and one hour from the famous Mt. Hood ski resort. Hood River is famous for its wineries, breweries, orchards, and water sports. People come from all over the world during the summer to kite board and to windsurf. Our clinic is a brand new clinic that has experienced rapid growth in the last year. The clinic was built on the premise of offering quality, thorough, and progressive medicine and diagnostics. The clinic has 4 exam rooms and 2 surgical rooms. Two of the four exam rooms are equipped with hydraulic lift tables for heavy dogs. One of the surgery rooms is dedicated for major surgeries and has a heated V-table. The other room is reserved for outpatient/same day surgeries (abscesses, dentals, etc.) and it is equipped with a hydraulic lift wet table. We have both sevoflurane and isoflurane gas and both rooms have anesthetic monitors, that measure blood pressure, respiratory rates, heart rates, and sPO2. We are a completely paperless practice and we have the ability to digitalize our radiographs so that we can submit them to a radiologist for consultation, with STAT results in less than an hour. We also have an in-house chemistry, CBC analyzer, a dental machine, a tonopen, Gaymar heat therapy pumps, IV pumps, and an electrosurgical/coagulation machine.
