The person in this position will conduct immunology research. Flow cytometry and cell assay techniques will be used to evaluate neutrophil function.

The vet jobs position will conduct research on innate immunity, stress, and immunomodulation in fish, birds and mammals. This person will study effects of different environmental factors, disease challenges, and dietary immunomodulators in vivo and in vitro on neutrophil function and disease resistance. Functional assays will be used to evaluate the neutrophil responses to different acute and chronic stress conditions.
